“Our planning permission at ‘Norrells’ allowed us to utilise the large loft space for a spacious bedroom, landing & luxury bathroom. It also had an effect of changing and improving the design and aesthetics of the façade by incorporating stylish dormer windows and replacing horrid roof tiles for Welsh slate.
This was a difficult operation and required a builder of Nesbitt’s caliber to work along- side our engineer and architect. With their input, they were able to enhance and simplify the design which ultimately helped to reduce fees and construction time, whilst improving the loft area considerably.
The complications associated with a roof being dismantled, strengthened & rebuilt could have been a nightmare. However, with their efficiency and skilful staff it was made easier. The overall experience was not akin to the usual heartache on ‘Grand Designs’ but was made even better when the budget came in as expected. We are delighted with the results and can thoroughly recommend them.”
