We were so thrilled to win this job - who wouldn’t want to be part of a team with the opportunity to build a new primary school where literally hundreds of children and staff can thrive .

We knocked down some dreadful “cabin” classrooms in January 2023 with the agreement that the new building would be ready for occupation on the first day of the new academic year in September , just 8 months later !!

The specification was double height classrooms with tons of light, colour, space, fresh air, exceptional accoustic and thermal insulation and generally a wonderful place for primary school children to thrive.

This was achieved in the agreed time and on budget using a timber frame and hardwood cladding, a great deal of insulation, excellent air tightness and a fully committed workforce working 6 days a week throughout.

We had a great team and it has been the most rewarding job of my 32 years in the business. Not only is it stunning but I’m told the children are happier, calmer, more comfortable and learning is easier. What more do we want ?
